Well, I seem to have healed up pretty well from my gallbladder surgery. It was harder than I thought it would be recovery wise but Nate and the kids were really helpful and now, 3 months post surgery I'm doing well.
I did sprain my ankle, when I was walking down a couple steps on the way to the ward Christmas party. I am off my feet for about a week and am on crutches. Something that my sister has had to do for much of her life. I don't know how she does it! It's really annoying! One legged showers are not fun either......
We are doing well here in Virginia, still acclimating. The weather is very similar but swings wider than where we were in CA. We go from 40 degrees as a high during the day to the high of 72 degrees a few days later. I'm praying for some snow!!! Don't think we'll get it, but I'm hoping anyway!!
The girls want us to write a Christmas letter so my next post will be our Christmas letter. I'm trying to fix my camera so I can post some pictures with it. We'll see how that goes.

I'm glad you are feeling better from the surgery. But the sprained ankle sounds miserable! I'd go nuts if that happened to me right now. ( :
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see some pictures!
Sorry about the sprained ankle. ;( But I am glad you are recovering from the surgery. That sounded like quite the beast, and I am sure no one knows that as well as you. I hope your ankle heals quickly, and I am looking forward to reading your Christmas letter. You express yourself so well I think, and I love to hear about all the updates with your family.
ReplyDeleteMy sympathies about the ankle. That had to have hurt! (And cooking dinner on crutches isn't a ton of fun, either. We are all looking forward to the Christmas letter.
